PERMISSIONSscott is an alpha werewolf, and that means he's got a few extra bells and whistles attached that affect how he'll interact with your characters! scott's a true alpha, so he's got a little extra juice and even he isn't totally sure what he's capable of, so i've done my best to outline everything, and will keep updating it as canon explains what the deal is.SCOTT MCCALL IS CAPABLE OF:
however, if this in anyway harshes your groove, please feel free to opt out and i'll wave my hands and come up with some reason why he wouldn't be using his powers/why they wouldn't work on your character. scott's a bitten werewolf, and while canon says he's pretty good at using his powers, there's a lot he doesn't know, so it's no problem to just brush them aside! i touched briefly on what he's capable of in his info post, but i'll go into more detail here on the senses that are directly invasive.ENHANCED SENSE OF SMELL canonically scott's been shown as being capable of picking up and tracking people's scent like a bloodhound. he's also capable of scenting someone's emotions, ie if your character is happy, sad, distressed, so on and so forth. this extends to being able to pick up details about your character, if they smell like certain places/people/etc, though this is something he's very new to, and is still learning how to do!OPT-IN/OPT-OUT
ENHANCED HEARING scott's capable of some pretty intense eavesdropping, as well as picking up human heartbeats. he's shown to be capable of figuring out whether or not someone's lying to him based on their heartrate alone, as well as being able to sense if someone is upset or anxious using this same skill.
PAIN ABSORPTION werewolves are capable of absorbing people's pain. scott does this very freely and without prompting, and even without thinking twice about it for people he's close to. in-game, i will never do this without contacting you first.
ALPHA ROAR the roar of an alpha is shown to be able to stun betas into submission. scott's done this maybe three times in canon, and usually in extremely stressful situation. this typically is only meant for teen wolf werewolves, but if you have a cross-canon wolf and would like to be affected, feel free to let me know!
NOTE scott's absolutely not infallible, and he can and probably at some point will misinterpret what his senses are telling him. so even if you opt-in, it's not a guarantee he's going to be correct in his hearing/smelling of your character.please fill out the text box below if you are opting in. if you are opting out, please comment with your character's name and journal and i'll be sure to avoid having scott reference his powers while interacting with your character!
